Meet Our Rescue Heroes!
Mark works for the Salvation Army and rescues food five days a week. He picks up from St. Peter's Hospital to Mystic Cupcakes. Mark rescues more than 50 tons of food annually used to make more than 142,000 Community Kitchen meals.
Turtle works for Catholic Community Services. She coordinates hundreds of volunteers in using rescued food from Safeway, Bon Appetit at Saint Martin's, and many other donors. She sorts rescued vegetables every Tuesday and Thursday. Join her. She's lots of fun.
